"I use to see lots of bollywood film before joining bollywood. The first struggle was to get my parents agree. They succumbed and i was given 2 years to pursue my dreams.
The Meter was down ! I was 23 Fresh from college I felt I had arrived on an alien planet Mumbai. I knew No one, had No contacts, No friends. Just a dream to be a Movie Actor."- Vishal Malik

Tell us about the first day of shoot- I remember the first day of shooting. Everyone was kind to me to make me comfortable and I enjoyed every bit of it. People accepted me with open hands and consequential roles, and here I am today, much appreciated and much loved. I simply want to say thank you, all…please keep on loving me.
Do u love Animals - I just love animals, I wish people could learn to be compassionate towards animals. Animals also have families and feelings. They feel pain. I can not bear to see cruelty to them - Just because they can't speak out. When i meet a person who loves animals. I instantly trust them.

What is love for you ? - If you are truly in love, you are happy in what ever makes her happy and viceversa. Thats my way of loving. Love is Caring. What ever makes the other person happy. I think you will be happy with that. if you genuinely love that person and you will find happiness in other person happiness.
How do you feel TV & FIlm are diffrent from each other- Technically TV is certainly different from films, in movies you get the script, you go home, rehearse and improvise and perform next day or whenever the shoot is scheduled. Movies Mein sab kuch aaram se hota hai, but TV main sets par subah script milti hai. There is no time to go through a script or rehearse, you have to perform immediately because of the cut to cut shooting schedules and i think this is the reason i love to work in films.
Tell us about your journey in industry- I came here absolutely unaware of the industry & hoped things to fall in place. I struggled initially, and i was like what m i doing? But this struggle gave me a good grounding, if you get things on a platter, you don't value it. I have been fortunate that great opportunities have come my way and people have confidence and faith in me. I feel blessed for the versatile opportunities i got. Its interesting to see my graph and i feel proud of myself. It has been a great journey.
Is there any naughty habbit you will going to change when u settle down - I dont think anybody can change anything about me because i been told i am control freek and i like to be physically in control on my self and subconsciously i start controlling everybody and everthing around me. So i think people need to understand that.
Lots of people around you, but are you lonely? - Well... Yes ! but i am suppose to be. "I am an Artist". We wallow in loneliness and solitude. In Search of the answer to hu

Do you believe love at first sight ? - Absolutely. I fall in love with every dog i see.

VISHAL MALIK was born in NewDelhi, He did his schooling from Haryana. Basically, he belongs to a political family. He developed a strong interest in acting after his school days. After schooling he wanted to make his career in acting but his father wanted him to be a lawyer like him, as his father was one of the best lawyers in Haryana. Vishal followed his father’s foot steps and completed his law. Vishal Malik used to watch Movies a lot, that motivated him so much that he decided to make acting as his career. But his parents never supported him for choosing acting field as his father always wanted him to join his Political Empire. He then took admission in law and completed his Bachelor of Laws.
In the following year, he took admission in 'O.P Jindal Global University' for his master's in laws, which is one of the best and most expensive University for law in India. Vishal Malik knew that his parents won’t allow him to take up acting, but he decided that his passion is acting, and that pursuing law was definitely not his cup of tea. So he told his father that he wanted to become an actor. His father told him – “If you have decided to be an actor then you should go for the best acting school in India”. Then he took admission in “Whistling Woods International” which is among top 10 film making school in the World, located in Mumbai and is promoted by the famous filmmaker "Subhash Ghai". During his studies in Whistling Woods even they observed his seriousness and dedication towards acting and i think thats why his Name is there on wikipedia Actors Studio in the list of top 10 actors from whistling woods International. That was so impressive in a very short period of time.

Vishal Malik is the son of Ch.Dharampal Singh Malik and Sudha Malik. His father is a great political Leaders, he was elected to Lok Sabha (Eighth) defeating Ch. Devilal, Former Deputy Prime Minister of India, Member of Parliament Loksabha (tenth), Ex- President Haryana Pradesh congress committee(i) & Member of legislative assembly (MLA).
And his Mother Sudha Malik who was Member Haryana Public Service Commission and Chairperson Haryana Janhit Congress (woman Cell)

Your Goal and aim- My ultimate dream is some thing i dont know yet. I dont have particular goal or aim. I take one step at a time and dont plan as such. All i try to do is to be a better person, friend and actor.
Tell us some thing about ur childhood- As a kid also, i was very much disciplined but also very naughty. I was favourite with ladies, my relatives keeps telling me stories of my childhood.
Your passion - I am passionate about everything. In fact if i am not passionate about something, i won't do it, I take everything seriously, passionately and I am totally involved be it roles, relationships, friendship or for that matter even simple flirting. This is who and how I am.
You School Days- School days were good ! I come from a family of laws and i lived up to that expectations. I was never shy of people, teachers were also like friends to me. I was a part of sports, dramatics, art. I was an all rounder. But never loved studies...!
Tell Me some thing about ur college life- College was very tough and lot of hard work. Actors Complain about long working hours but i never complain, i think because i love this work, Whistling Woods is very special, I got to learn about other aspects of film making as well, like Cinematography, Direction, Editing, fashion and Camera. I started doing theatre and doing stage because of Whistling Woods International, it introduced me to the world of films. Whistling Woods Plays an important role in my life and my career, if i am an actor today then its some where because of it.
What kind of work you wanna do- I am a Method Actor. I wanted to work in Art Cinema, Realistic Movies, and stuff like that, which is most tough and diffcult to act and perform. I am not at all for televison i think, thats why i avoid working in them.
How are you balancing Acting and politics- Politics And Acting ! Honestly, I have never tried to balance out the two mediums. Things have just happened. As I am born in a politics family it automatically flows in my blood, I am aware of what i am doing and what i want to do in my life. For me both the mediums are interesting, I am totally enjoying it but i am not satisfied as there is a hunger within me to do a lot more.
Your religion- I consider myself a spiritual person but I don’t follow any particular religion. From my childhood, my father always told me that 'to be a good man, you don't need to go to a temple, church or a mosque. You just need to do good'. This is very true. So, while I believe in the presence of a supreme being, I am agnostic.
