What's left behind the scenes
- The prototype for the main character is director Pavel Klushantsev, director of the film "Planet of Storms."
- The creators decided to move away from using computer graphics in the film as much as possible and recreate the special effects of Klushantsev. To this end, the filmmakers built a large dome pavilion for combined filming.
- Filming took place in Saint Petersburg and the Leningrad Region. The space landscapes for the film were shot in North Africa.
