What's left behind the scenes
- The plot is based on the story of Patty Melchiorri. Her son, Anthony Melchiorri, became an executive producer of the film and played Uncle Tito (his name is not listed in the credits).
- The real Patty Montanari was born in 1943. She worked for the mafia when she was in her twenties. According to her son, she was later allowed to retire and live a quiet, unassuming life with her sons. It is believed that she moved to New Jersey. There is practically no information about her because (according to her son) she does not like publicity and avoids it in every way.
