- The musical number 'Never Gonna Dance' was filmed on the 47th take. The shooting lasted all day, and Ginger Rogers (1911-1995) wore her feet raw.
- In the musical number "The Way You Look Tonight", Ginger Rogers washes her hair. The film crew tried various soaps and shampoos, but the foam still ran down her face too quickly. They had to use whipped cream.
