What's left behind the scenes
- The scenes in the store were filmed on the 8th floor of one of the buildings in Sydney's business center, Australia. This floor had not been used for many years and looked exactly as it did in 1959. The filmmakers had only one day for filming, as renovations were scheduled to begin on the floor the next day.
- After taking a shower, the heroine Rachel Taylor watches the film by Sir Alexander Korda, "Lydia" (1941), starring Merle Oberon (1911-1979) and George Reeves (1914-1959).
- The role of Stefan's wife was initially offered to Milla Jovovich, but she preferred filming in the post-apocalyptic action film by Bruce Thierry Chung and James Franco, "Future World" (2018), where she was offered a larger fee.
