What's left behind the scenes

  • In the final scene where she sings, Catherine Deneuve's character holds a vintage AKG D202 microphone. Due to the microphone's shape, it was nicknamed 'The Rocket'.
  • When the characters enter the bar, a song from 1978 plays, although the action takes place in 1977.
  • The film is set in 1977, but some cars have white headlights. In France, cars at that time had yellow headlights, and white headlights weren't used until 1993. However, the car driven by the character played by Gérard Depardieu has headlights of the correct color.
