Seamus Watson (born 2004) is a transgender filmmaker and sound recordist from Adelaide, South Australia. Growing up with a love for movies and storytelling, he found his place behind the microphone and camera, where collaboration and creativity came naturally. He studied at AIE (formerly MAPS Film School), completing a double diploma in Screen & Media and Visual Art – the same school that helped launch the Philippou brothers. Seamus continues to work closely with friends and other local filmmakers, building projects from the ground up and contributing to Adelaide’s independent film scene. Passionate about sound, community, and authentic storytelling, he hopes to grow as both an artist and collaborator in the years ahead.
