Christmas Bloody Christmas

Christmas Bloody Christmas takes place on Christmas Eve in a small town, where Tori Tooms runs a record store and has little interest in the holiday. She plans to spend the night drinking with friends and meeting men she has contacted through a dating app. Instead, her employee Robbie Reynolds persuades her to keep him company while they drink, listen to music and talk about horror films he considers underrated. Meanwhile, a life-sized robotic Santa Claus on display at a nearby toy store malfunctions and goes on a killing spree, forcing Tori and Robbie to fight for their lives.

Joe Begos wrote and directed the film, which followed his earlier features Almost Human, Bliss and VFW in his filmography. Riley Dandy stars as Tori and Sam Delich as Robbie, with Jonah Ray Rodrigues, Dora Madison, Jeff Daniel Phillips and Abraham Benrubi, who plays Santa Claus, in supporting roles. Begos produced with Josh Ethier. The film runs 87 minutes.

On IMDb the film holds a rating of 5.1 from roughly 7,200 votes, and on TMDB it has a 5.3 from around 250 votes, indicating a modest audience response. A critics' rating of 6.3 from about 50 reviews is notably higher than those viewer scores. The film was released in December 2022.
