Inès was cleared of responsibility for the accident that killed Raphaël when he was twelve years, seven months and eleven days old, yet she has never shaken off her sense of guilt. When her own son Théo reaches exactly that age, she becomes convinced that Raphaël's mother, Lucie, intends to take revenge on the boy. The fear takes over her life and drives a wedge between her and her husband, Mehdi, who eventually files for divorce. On the day she has long dreaded, Inès hides Théo in a cabin deep in the forest and sets out to confront Lucie, hoping to force a confession and persuade her to abandon the idea of vengeance.
Alexandre Coffre directed the French television thriller from a screenplay he wrote with Monica Rattazzi. It is his second feature, following The Volcano in 2013. Marie Denarnaud plays Inès and Julie Gayet plays Lucie, with Hubert Delattre, Anton Alluin, Mhamed Arezki and Hadrien Heaulmé in supporting roles. The film runs 81 minutes.
Released in April 2024, it has drawn little attention from viewers: on TMDB it holds a rating of 6 out of 10 from 10 votes, a small sample that makes the score only a rough indication of how it has been received.
