What's left behind the scenes
- The interior of the restaurant was created in the studio by designer Richard Sylbert (1928-2002).
- According to producer Tom Mount, the role of Nick was initially intended for Alec Baldwin, and the actor even auditioned, but soon Mount and director Robert Towne decided to give the role to Kurt Russell.
