Blastfighter

Blastfighter follows Jake "Tiger" Sharp, a former homicide detective who has spent years in prison for killing the man responsible for his wife's death. Released from custody, he retreats to his old hometown in the mountains, hoping to leave his past behind and live quietly. He is reunited with Tom, a childhood friend who runs a local sawmill, but the reunion stirs resentment in Tom's brother Wally, whose business involves large-scale hunting and trapping in the area. The conflict between Sharp and the local poachers escalates into open violence, and Sharp finds himself protecting the daughter he has newly come to know, drawing on his police training and a grenade-firing weapon to survive.

The film is an Italian-French action drama directed by Lamberto Bava, made between A Blade in the Dark and Demons in his filmography. Michael Sopkiw plays Sharp, with Valentina Forte as Connie and George Eastman as Tom. The screenplay was written by Luca De Rita and Massimo De Rita, and Luciano Martino produced.

It runs 87 minutes. On IMDb it holds a 5.7 rating from around 1,700 votes, while on TMDB its rating is 5.3 from a much smaller number of votes.
