Space Pups

A brother and sister, together with their parents, befriend three visitors from another world. To avoid drawing attention, the aliens take the form of friendly dogs while working to repair their damaged spacecraft. Their efforts are complicated by a local UFO hunter who wants to capture them, so the family must help the visitors stay hidden and find a way home.

The film is directed by Jason Murphy, whose earlier credits include Zombies! Zombies! Zombies! and Robo-Dog. It was written by Anthony Steven Giordano and produced by Kenny Beaumont, Mark Boot and Eli Lipnik, with Blue River Films, In The Dark Entertainment and Swen Studios behind it. The cast includes Myron Donley, Riley Madison Fuller, Elijah Green, Krista Kelley, Matt Kinback and Zac Zedalis.

Released in July 2023, the film runs 93 minutes and mixes adventure, family and science fiction. On IMDb it holds a rating of 4.8 from 342 votes, while on TMDB it stands at 7.4 from 17 votes. The two scores differ sharply, and the much larger vote count on IMDb gives that lower figure more weight among general viewers, whereas the TMDB average rests on a small sample.
