Our Sons

Our Sons follows the relationship between two mothers brought together by a tragedy. James, a young man, reveals his sexuality to his mother, Audrey, a San Diego businesswoman who struggles to reconcile the news with her own self-image as an open-minded person. The situation becomes more urgent when James asks Audrey to travel to Arkansas to tell Luanne, the estranged mother of his partner Donald, that Donald is dying of AIDS. Despite their different backgrounds and initial prejudices, the two women form a bond as they share their fears and hopes for their children.
