Deliver Us

A remote convent becomes the centre of a Vatican investigation when a nun, Sister Yulia, claims she has conceived twins without a father. An ancient prophecy holds that such a woman will bear one child who is the Messiah and another who is the Antichrist, so the Church sends Father Fox and Cardinal Russo to look into the case. Their inquiry uncovers a secret society, Vox Dei, that wants the nun and her unborn children dead, and the priests end up fleeing with her while killers stay on their trail.

Deliver Us is a horror film directed by Lee Roy Kunz and Cru Ennis, who also share producer duties with Isaac Bauman. The screenplay was written by Lee Roy Kunz with Kane Kunz. Lee Roy Kunz appears in the lead role of Father Fox, alongside Maria Vera Ratti as Sister Yulia, Alexander Siddig as Cardinal Russo and Thomas Kretschmann as Father Saul. The production is a United States and Estonia co-production involving XYZ Films, World's Fair Pictures, Homeless Bob Production and CAA, and runs 102 minutes. It was released on 30 August 2023.

The ratings place the film in modest territory. On IMDb it holds 4.8 from around 2,900 votes, and on TMDB 5.5 from about 103 votes, suggesting limited and muted audience approval. A critics' rating of 5.7 from 20 reviews sits slightly above the IMDb figure but close to the TMDB result, so neither critics nor audiences were strongly enthusiastic.
