Short description

A scientific expedition sets out for Borneo to seek a flower called the Blood Orchid, which could grant extended life. Meanwhile, they run afoul of snakes and each other.

What's left behind the scenes

This is the first Hollywood film to have its premiere in Fiji.
This is the final film in the tetralogy to use puppets, although almost all of the anacondas shown here are a product of computer technology. Two prop anacondas were created for some scenes – a body (one puppet) and a head (the second), which were used in filming, after which computer-generated anacondas were 'layered' onto them during post-production.
