What's left behind the scenes
- The film was shot on 35mm Kodak film. Director and screenwriter John MacLean wanted to shoot on film for his debut Western, "Slow West" (2015) as well, but budgetary constraints prevented it at the time, making "Tornado" the first film MacLean shot on film.
