Tornado

Set in 1790s Scotland, this action drama follows a Japanese puppeteer and his daughter, Tornado, as they travel through the countryside. Their journey takes a violent turn when they encounter a criminal gang led by Sugarman and his son, Little Sugar. After the gang attacks the family show and kills her father, Tornado uses her skill with the sword to fight back. She steals the criminals' gold to fund her revenge and secure her own future, leading to a deadly conflict between her and the bandits.

The film was written and directed by John Maclean, marking his second directorial effort following Slow West. The cast is led by Kōki in the title role, appearing alongside Tim Roth, Jack Lowden, Takehiro Hira, Rory McCann, and Raphaël Thiéry.
