What's left behind the scenes

  • An EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recording from the trailer – the phrase “I won’t see you again” – is attributed to a Ruth Baxter, who died in 1987. The recording is believed to have been made at a lighthouse in Maryland, which is reportedly haunted. During the Civil War (1861-1865), the lighthouse building was used as a hospital, and some claim the voice in the recording says either “I saw the war” or “I saw the water” (the English word for 'war' is 'war', and for 'water' is 'water'). Although the recording is considered authentic, the story of Ruth Baxter is a fabrication.
