Captain Avispa

Captain Avispa is an animated musical family film set in Avispatropolis. The story follows a brave protector of the city who battles evil forces, including the antagonist Jack Poison Bite and his allies. The hero's strength is derived from his total honesty, as lying causes him to lose his power, although he may bend the truth for noble reasons. He is supported by a group of friends and opposed by enemies whose backgrounds are linked to the songs of an artist.

Produced in the Dominican Republic by Guerra Toons, the film was directed by Jean Gabriel Guerra and Jonathan Meléndez. The screenplay was written by Juan Luis Guerra and Miguel Yarull.
