A teacher at South Park Elementary turns out to have a page on a subscription content platform, and the discovery pushes Randy Marsh into the world of online influencers. What he finds there is the seedier side of that business, and the film follows him as he gets drawn further into it. The story is told through the show's usual animated comedy, with the adult characters chasing attention and money while the children of the town look on.
Trey Parker directed and wrote the screenplay, and produced it with Matt Stone and Anne Garefino. It runs 47 minutes and was released on December 20, 2023, one of a run of South Park television films Parker made in the 2020s, arriving between South Park: Joining the Panderverse (2023) and South Park: The End of Obesity (2024). Parker and Stone voice various characters, with April Stewart, Kimberly Brooks, Jessica Makinson and Christopher Borkovec also in the voice cast. It is an American production from MTV Entertainment Studios.
Audience response has been solid rather than spectacular. On IMDb it holds a rating of 7.2 from around 6,700 votes, and on TMDB it sits at 7.4 from a much smaller base of roughly 234 votes. The two are close, suggesting a fairly consistent reception among those who watched it.
