Vexanthrone is a surreal horror film that follows a solitary artist who has been cast out of his creative community for producing a sculpture considered too offensive. The story explores the physical and mental hardships of the creative act through a strange journey involving decomposition, flesh, and spiritual growth. The film blends an arthouse style with elements of body horror to depict this experimental odyssey.
Written, produced, and directed by Jacob Green, this project was the first in a sequence of films that includes White Gardenia: The King James Bible. Green also stars in the lead role as the artist. Produced by Tarnished Vision Films in the United States, the movie has a runtime of 65 minutes.
