What's left behind the scenes

  • At the beginning of the film, Soviet T-34-85 tanks appear, which entered serial production in 1944, after the events depicted in the film.
  • The 'Tiger' crew engages in combat with a SU-100, but the first combat use of this self-propelled gun took place in January 1945, while the film's action occurs in late 1943.
  • The tank featured in the film is a replica built on a T-55 tank chassis. Before filming began, it was additionally fitted with wheels. Currently, the replica can be seen in a private military museum in the Czech town of Rokycany.
