What's left behind the scenes
- Kevin Costner played the role of the deceased Alex, but almost all of the footage with his participation was cut during editing: he appears at the beginning of the film in a coffin.
- Before filming began, the director housed the actors together, and they spent several days communicating and getting into their roles.
