  • When Claire (played by Michelle Pfeiffer) arrives at the motel, a malfunctioning neon sign causes the inscription "Wi-Fi Access — Pool" to transform into "Cess Pool." This is a kind of reference to Tim Burton's 1992 sci-fi action film *Batman Returns*, where Pfeiffer's character's actions cause the sign "Hello There" to change to "Hell Here."
