Solovei vs. Muromets

The story follows the immortal Nightingale the Robber, who long ago used trickery to defeat Ilya Muromets and steal his fame by rewriting history. In the modern era, Nightingale seeks to resurrect the dark god Veles. When Professor Kiselyov discovers Muromets frozen in a northern underwater cave, he uses a mechanical heart to bring the hero back to life, a process that results in the professor's death. His sons, Maksim and Egor, must then work to stop Nightingale and clear Muromets' name through giant robot battles at the RoboArena.

Directed by Karen Oganesyan, this Russian adventure film blends fantasy and science fiction. The cast features Vladimir Lyubimtsev as Muromets and Nikita Efremov as Solovei, alongside Timofey Kochnev, Mark-Malik Murashkin, Alexandra Tikhonova, and Anton Vasilyev.

Despite a very high budget of 380 million USD, the film had a poor financial performance, earning only 2 million USD worldwide. Audience reception was mixed to negative, reflected in a 5/10 rating on IMDb from 3,100 votes and a 4/10 rating on TMDB from 2 votes.
