Ananya

Ananya is a horror film centred on a young woman of the same name who belongs to a deeply traditional and respectable family. The threat she faces comes from within that household: a relative has been mistreating her since her childhood. The story follows her situation as this abuse, rooted in her own home, takes a supernatural turn.

The film was released on 22 March 2024 and runs 136 minutes. It was directed by Prasad Raju Bommidi, who also wrote the screenplay, with Gangadhar Sharma J producing. It is an Indian horror production built around a family setting rather than a large star cast.
