A widowed first-time mother named Erin learns that her baby son has a rare genetic disorder and needs a bone marrow transplant. As she searches for a donor, she finds that other children conceived at the same fertility clinic share the illness, and her questions about how her son was conceived draw her into a web of deception.
The film is a Canadian-American television thriller directed by Soran Mardookhi from a screenplay by Hannah Robinson, produced by Bruce Harvey, and made by Reel One Entertainment, Lifetime and CMW Valley Productions. It runs 89 minutes and was released in April 2024. Holly Deveaux plays Erin, with Brittany Mitchell as Diana, Panta Mosleh as Dr. Alice Grey, Carly Fawcett as Tina, Jonathan Purvis as David and Brittany Clough as Brenda Day.
The film sits second in Mardookhi's directing credits, arriving between Catfish Murder in 2023 and two 2025 titles, Taste of His Own Poison and Sins of My Husband, ahead of The Flight in 2026, a run that places it early in a steadily growing body of television thriller work.
