That Touch of Mink

Cathy Timberlake, a secretary looking for work in New York, is splashed with mud from a passing limousine on her way to an interview. The car belongs to Philip Shayne, a wealthy businessman who sends his assistant, Roger, to make amends. Roger decides Cathy would suit his boss, and the two soon meet. Philip is after a casual affair, while Cathy has marriage in mind, and their differing expectations follow them as they travel together. Delbert Mann directs this 1962 romantic comedy for Universal Pictures and Arwin Productions, working from a screenplay by Stanley Shapiro and Nate Monaster.
