This documentary examines the development of rave culture and techno music in Poland, exploring the connection between this movement and the social changes of the 1990s. Guided by performance artist Marcello Zamenhoff, a pioneer of the scene, and two young participants named Marysia and Janusz, the film looks at different social circles, including the techno community in Łódź and the Ekwador club in Manieczkach. The narrative focuses on whether the current generation can bridge the class divisions that have existed within the Polish techno scene since its inception.
The film was directed and written by Dawid Nickel and Łukasz Ronduda. It is the first of three listed works for both directors, preceding Tell Me What You Feel and Freak Show, both released in 2026. The cast features Marcello Zamenhoff and Maria Smolarz appearing as themselves. Produced by Di Factory, PISF, Lava Films, and EC1 Lódz, the Polish production has a runtime of 76 minutes.
