What's left behind the scenes
- Filming took place in Germany, Austria, Italy, and Belgium from the end of July to the end of September 2024. A scene set in an American city was filmed in Belgium.
- Over 5000 people auditioned for the roles of Nell, Frankie, and Mia.
- The film features more than 25 animals.
- The film contains a total of 516 shots featuring real and digital animals. The filming crew had planned in advance which scenes would require computer graphics.
- Filming the final confrontation took 7 days and took place in Bavaria. Two filming crews worked on the scene simultaneously, using 4 cameras. More than 100 people and 15 species of animals were involved.
