Hello Summer

Hello Summer is an animated family comedy about a family's summer getaway. While they look forward to a dream vacation by the sea, their trip is plagued by mishaps. Problems begin during the journey to the airport and continue upon arrival, where they encounter a disappointing hotel, strange meals, missing luggage, and an unsuitable view from their room.

The film was directed by Martin Smatana, who also served as a producer and co-writer alongside Veronika Zacharová. Within Smatana's career, this production follows his 2019 film The Kite and precedes Veronika Zacharová. The project was a collaborative effort between production companies from Slovakia, France, and the Czech Republic, including Studio Bororo and Vivement lundi !. With a runtime of 11 minutes, the short film was released on June 5, 2024.
