Humanity

Humanity is an animated dark comedy that explores the common experience of feeling irritation toward others for insignificant reasons. The story focuses on the struggle of tolerating annoying habits in a difficult life, presenting an animated environment where dark fantasies of fatal revenge against people for trivial behaviors can be realized.

Produced in the Czech Republic by FAMU, Cinepoint, and DIVIZE animace, the short film has a runtime of seven minutes. It was directed by Tereza Kovandová, following her work on Bloody Fairy Tales in 2024. The screenplay was written by Lukáš Hrdý and the project was produced by Kristina Škodová. The film was released on June 9, 2024.
