FAM-ILLI

Fam-illi follows two struggling Juggalo rappers who attempt to produce a DIY music video while filming their progress. As they pursue underground fame and loyalty to their community, the project becomes increasingly chaotic. The line between their artistic performance and actual reality fades, leading the pair toward a dark path marked by obsession and violence. The film uses a found footage style to blend horror with underground music culture.

David M. Dawson wrote and directed this short film, which has a runtime of 18 minutes. In the chronological order of his work, it follows Bone Barrel and Leech, and precedes Zebra Hooves. The cast features Mike Miller as Hatchet Harry and Jordan Acosta as Karney J. Combining elements of comedy and horror, the production focuses on the deteriorating friendship of its lead characters.
