Month of the Witches

Two Latvian actors travel across their country to meet healers and witches. Their journey is a search for meaning in their lives following years of alcohol abuse that damaged their health. Along the way, the pair encounters a variety of adventures and challenges that result in both tragic and comedic moments.

The film was directed by Una Celma, who also produced the project and co-wrote the screenplay alongside Andris Berzins and Harijs Spanovskis. In the chronological order of her work, this followed her 2005 film Maximum Headroom. The production was handled by Fenixfilm in Latvia. The movie features Harijs Spanovskis and Andris Berzins appearing as themselves, with a supporting appearance by Raimonds Pauls.
