A woman seeking a cure for unexplained memory loss and psychological distress participates in a healing ceremony hosted by a fundamentalist religious group. Instead of finding relief, the ritual accidentally releases the spirit of a vengeful witch. The entity seeks to use the woman as a physical vessel to reclaim its evil power and punish those who wronged it.
