(G)I-DLE WORLD TOUR [iDOL] IN CINEMAS is a South Korean music documentary that brings the experience of a live concert to the theater. The film focuses on the opening performance of the 2024 iDOL world tour held in Seoul. It features a curated selection of songs and visual effects, including performances of tracks such as TOMBOY, Queencard, LATATA, and Super Lady.
The movie was directed by Oh Yun-dong, marking the 11th of 16 films in his career. It follows his previous work, SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [RIGHT HERE] IN CINEMAS, and precedes Red Velvet [Happiness Diary : My Dear, ReVe1uv] in Cinemas, both released in 2025. The production was a collaboration between Cube Entertainment, ScreenX Studio, and CJ 4DFLEX.
The cast consists of the group members appearing as themselves: Shuhua, Yuqi, Soyeon, Minnie, and Miyeon. Released on January 8, 2025, the film has a runtime of 102 minutes.
