Prostokvashino

A boy known as Uncle Fyodor has a great affection for animals, but his parents refuse to allow any pets inside their home. To resolve this conflict, the boy decides to relocate to the village of Prostokvashino accompanied by a dog named Sharik and a cat named Matroskin.
