Maryam: The Untold Story

Maryam: The Untold Story is an Indonesian horror film centering on a woman named Maryam who has been haunted by a genie since birth. Her struggle intensifies when a mysterious letter begins appearing repeatedly, regardless of her attempts to destroy or discard it. An invisible entity follows her every move and speaks in a voice only she can hear. As Maryam tries to escape this presence, she finds herself increasingly trapped, eventually questioning whether she still controls her own life or has become the permanent possession of the entity.

The screenplay was written by Lele Laila and produced by Tony Ramesh and Jody Bani Wicaksono.
