The actor, Eppe Lauridsen, who played Erland, has the inscription “Braindead” visible on his t-shirt. This is the title of Peter Jackson’s film “Braindead”.
The Nazi zombies shown in the film are a combination of typical zombies from popular culture and supernatural creatures from Scandinavian mythology. They are the undead inhabiting graves, often the graves of nobility, whose representatives were buried with treasures, and these creatures guarded such treasures as their own.
The film was originally planned to be titled “Rd Sn” in honor of the 1885 mini-series of the same name, a joint production of Sweden and Norway.
The main trailer for the film features archival footage from World War II (warships, paratroopers, and Hitler's headquarters with Adolf Hitler), but this footage is not present in the film itself.
