Queen of Malacca

Queen of Malacca is an upcoming crime-action thriller that blends the gritty violence of the criminal underworld with Southeast Asian mysticism. The story is set in Indonesia and incorporates elements of fantasy.

The film is directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko, who also co-wrote the screenplay and served as a producer. This project follows his previous directorial efforts, 13 Bombs and Heartbreak Motel. The production was handled by Visinema Pictures with a budget of 2 million USD. The main cast features Claresta Taufan in the role of Rafah, alongside Wulan Guritno, Dion Wiyoko, Faris Fadjar, Ganindra Bimo, and Lutesha. The film is scheduled for release on March 3, 2027.
