Always Lalisa

Upcoming documentary Always Lalisa follows the international performer Lisa during a pivotal period of her life. The film explores her evolution from a child with big ambitions to a global star through her time with the K-pop group BLACKPINK. It focuses on a transformative year spent away from the group as she seeks to establish her own identity and define the next stage of her professional career.

The film is directed by Sue Kim, who previously directed The Last of the Sea Women in 2024. Kim also serves as a producer on the project alongside Courtney Crockett. The production is a collaboration between Tremolo Productions, Sony Music Vision, Saltwater Productions, and LLOUD. Lisa appears as herself in the 97-minute music documentary, which is a United States production.
