Bruce Springsteen: Nebraska Live is a music documentary featuring the musician performing every song from his 1982 album, Nebraska, in their entirety for the first time. The performance takes place within a small soundstage and is presented in black-and-white cinematography to create a moody atmosphere.
The film was directed by Thom Zimny, a frequent collaborator of Springsteen. This project follows Zimny's previous work, which includes The Ties That Bind: The Making of The River, Sly, The Beach Boys, and Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band. Alongside Zimny, the film was produced by George Travis and Adrienne Gerard. The cast features Bruce Springsteen appearing as himself, supported by musicians Larry Campbell and Charles Giordano. The United States production has a total runtime of 45 minutes.
