Broken Years

Broken Years is a Turkish comedy and drama set during the embargo of 1975. The story follows Aytekin, a theater actor who finds himself becoming a prominent figure in the rise of erotic cinema while attempting to provide safety and security for his family.

The film was written and directed by Hasan Tolga Pulat and produced by Tuncay Kaymaz and Tayfun Burus through Kaymaz Film and Burus Yapım. The main cast features Yetkin Dikinciler in the role of Aytekin Aktaş, alongside Mine Çayıroğlu as Asuman Aktaş, Levent Özdilek as Aslan Aybar, and İlkin Tüfekçi as Alev Ateş. Other appearing actors include Necmi Yapıcı and Derya Şensoy. With a runtime of 131 minutes, the movie was released on February 27, 2026.
