Megadeth: Behind the Mask

Megadeth: Behind the Mask is a music documentary that explores four decades of the band's history. Dave Mustaine shares previously untold stories about the group's past and the creative process that continues to drive them. The film combines a retrospective look at the band's legacy with the premiere of their self-titled album, featuring track-by-track reflections and interviews covering Mustaine's entire career.

The film was produced in the United States by Shadow Pictures and directed by Casey Tebo. This production follows Tebo's previous film, Black Friday, released in 2021. The documentary features Dave Mustaine appearing as himself. With a runtime of 109 minutes, the project blends a traditional documentary format with a full-length album experience.
