Ainsley McGregor Mysteries: A Case For the Watchmaker

Ainsley McGregor returns to her hometown of Sweet River expecting a quiet life centered around book clubs and craft markets. However, the peaceful atmosphere changes when a member of her book club brings up a cold case involving the murder of her husband, who was killed for a rare antique watch. Ainsley begins investigating the crime to expose local secrets and identify the killer before another person is targeted.

This Canadian and American mystery TV movie was directed by Martin Wood. It is the eleventh film in his career, following works such as The Impossible Elephant and A Make or Break Holiday. It also follows two previous installments in the same series, A Case for the Winemaker and A Case for the Yarn Maker. The screenplay was written by Robin Dunne, who also stars as Ryan McGregor alongside Candace Cameron-Bure in the lead role of Ainsley McGregor. The supporting cast includes Aaron Ashmore, B. J. Harrison, Francisca Dennis, and Farrah Aviva. The production was a collaboration between several companies, including Candy Rock Entertainment and Great American Media.
