Short description

This documentary Western features Lee Martin, a performer from the Buffalo Bill's Wild West show. The film depicts Martin attempting to stay mounted on a bucking horse while a crowd watches. To increase the intensity for both the animal and the rider, another cowboy stands on a fence and fires a revolver.

The short film was produced by Edison Studios and released in 1894. It was co-directed by William K.L. Dickson and William Heise. In the chronological order of Dickson's work, this is his sixth film out of 14, following Annie Oakley and preceding Band Drill. For Heise, it is the fifth of 24 films, also positioned between Annie Oakley and Band Drill. The cast features Lee Martin and Frank Hammitt appearing as themselves. On TMDB, the film has a rating of 4.5/10 based on 33 votes.
