El Caso Llanca

This Argentine documentary focuses on Dionisio Llanca, a truck driver who claimed to have encountered extraterrestrial beings and a spacecraft in October 1973. The film examines the media attention and the subsequent medical investigations involving hypnosis and truth serum that followed his claims. After disappearing for several decades, Llanca was located in 2021 by researchers who helped him share his experiences and the personal struggles he endured before his death in 2024. The narrative highlights a shift in ufology by centering on the human experience of the witness.

Leandro Bartoletti wrote and directed the film, which follows his 2024 project, The Conclave of Shadows. Produced by Victoria Hidrovo and 300 Films, the production features appearances by Lorena Gisela Sciarratta, Marina Giaveno, Damián Bernardiz, Alejandro Agostinelli, Pablo Martín Giménez, and Cheko Jaroslav. The movie was released on February 15, 2026.
