Hairscare

Hairscare is a horror film centering on a sequence of violent killings linked to a seemingly happy family. The plot focuses on the psychological collapse of Nikki Blonsky, as evidence makes it difficult to distinguish her from her exaggerated persona, Tracy Turnblad.

Produced by Ferndale Studios in the United Kingdom, the short film has a runtime of four minutes. It was directed by Eleanor Burkert, following her 2024 work, History Project. The screenplay was written by Hope Reid, who also stars as Nikki Blonsky and Tracy Turnblad. Sophie Goulding served as producer and portrayed three different roles, including Amber Von Tussle, Velma Von Tussle, and Wilbur Turnblad. The cast is rounded out by Eleanor Burkert, who plays Penny Pingleton and Corny Collins, and Zac Rogers, who takes on the roles of Link Larkin and Edna Turnblad.
