Dr. Dolittle

This upcoming Russian animated adventure comedy follows Dr. Dolittle, who is sent on a mandatory vacation to a luxury hotel. After his monkey companion, Chi-Chi, informs him that an epidemic is affecting animals in Africa, the pair travels there via a tourist hot air balloon. They discover that a thief named Barm`o`Ley is responsible for the crisis, as he steals young animals to fill a private zoo for his daughter, Lea. Through her interactions with Dr. Dolittle, Lea changes her perspective on animals and eventually influences her father to change his ways.

The film is directed by Aleksey Zamyslov, who also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Vladimir Nikolaev. It is a production of Mars Media Entertainment, CTB Film Company, and Wizart Animation, with Sergey Selyanov and Vladimir Nikolaev serving as producers. The movie has a planned runtime of 90 minutes.
