String Theory

String Theory follows a preoccupied student who is guided by a mysterious thread. This invisible force leads him on an extensive journey as he searches for a sense of connection.

The short film was directed by Kirk Mihelakos, who also served as a producer alongside Ali Wells. Following his 2025 project Unsaved, this production represents the second of three films directed by Mihelakos in 2026. The cast features Brad McCarthy as the male student and Jaz Balmer as the female student, with supporting roles played by Luca Simpfendorfer, Ali Wells, Jennifer Solomons, and Eva Hatzicostas. The movie has a total runtime of three minutes.
